National Advisor

Er. Alla Rama Krishna​

Er. Alla Rama Krishna is the National Advisor of the All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) and a distinguished retired public sector officer, social activist, intellectual, and advocate for social justice. He served as Chief General Manager / Electrical (Retd.) at the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd (TSSPDCL), where he rendered several decades of dedicated public service with professionalism, integrity, and commitment to public welfare.

Within AIOBCSA, Er. Alla Rama Krishna has played a vital mentoring and guiding role in shaping the organisation’s ideological direction and democratic interventions on issues concerning OBCs and other marginalized communities. As National Advisor, he has consistently supported student and youth movements demanding a comprehensive caste census, effective implementation of reservations, constitutional safeguards for BC reservations, and equitable representation in education, employment, governance, and policymaking institutions.

As National President of AIOBCSA, he has led several democratic movements, public campaigns, protests, seminars, conferences, and policy discussions on issues affecting marginalized students and communities across India. Under his leadership, AIOBCSA has actively engaged with debates concerning the implementation of the Mandal Commission recommendations, caste census, reservation policies, social justice legislation, and representation of backward classes in public institutions.

Kiran Kumar has also consistently raised concerns regarding exclusion and underrepresentation of OBC communities in higher education, faculty recruitment, public employment, and policymaking bodies. He has advocated for transparency and accountability in reservation implementation and has opposed policies that bypass constitutional safeguards for SC, ST, and OBC communities.

With a strong academic and public policy orientation, he has contributed to discussions on governance, democracy, public institutions, and social justice through research, public lectures, writings, and organisational initiatives. He has worked to bridge the gap between student movements, academic research, and public policymaking by encouraging evidence-based advocacy and democratic participation among youth.

Under his leadership, AIOBCSA has organised numerous national and regional conferences, round table discussions, student mobilisations, and awareness campaigns on caste census, educational equity, constitutional rights, and empowerment of backward communities. He has also collaborated with intellectuals, civil society groups, student organisations, and social justice movements to strengthen democratic discourse on representation and inclusion.

Kiran Kumar’s contribution reflects a commitment to building an inclusive and equitable society rooted in the constitutional values of equality, social justice, dignity, and democratic representation. Through his activism and leadership, he continues to inspire students, researchers, and young activists working towards the empowerment of marginalized communities in India.

Dr. Gowd Kiran Kumar

Dr. Gowd Kiran Kumar is the National President of the All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA), a social activist, researcher, and public policy advocate committed to the empowerment of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and other marginalized communities in India. Through his leadership, AIOBCSA has emerged as an important platform representing the voices of OBC students, youth, researchers, and socially excluded communities on issues of social justice, constitutional rights, representation, and inclusive governance.

Kiran Kumar has been actively involved in campaigns advocating for caste census, protection and expansion of reservations, diversity and inclusion in higher educational institutions, and evidence-based policymaking for backward communities. He has consistently emphasized the need for scientific caste-based socio-economic data to strengthen constitutional safeguards and ensure equitable access to education, employment, political representation, and public resources for OBCs, MBCs/EBCs, DNTs, SCs, and STs.
